Panning
Panning is a way to put your audiosignal somewhere in the stereofield. A pot meter turned to the left puts the signal on the leftside of your stereosignal. Panning modules can also be CV controlled by, for example, an LFO or sequencer, so the audiosignal changes in a rhythmic way from left to right and vice versa.
